Temporary Dialysis Unit Adds Third Run
Ross
Memorial
Hospital
is pleased to offer dialysis services in a 6-station temporary unit. The operation of this interim unit is an attempt to address the urgent need for dialysis in our community.
In October, the temporary unit increased its patient volume to 36 by adding a third run, or shift, in the evening. Now one group of six is treated between 8am and 12pm, the second group comes in from 12:30pm to 4:30pm and the evening shift is treated between 5pm and 9pm.

The operation of this interim unit allows Ross Memorial Hospital to
prepare for the eventual operation of the expanded 15-station permanent
unit. Construction on the new unit began in October, and is expected to
be completed in the fall of 2008.
