The Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation extends its heartfelt thanks to the members of the Fenelon Falls Rotary Club, who recently fulfilled their pledge to the "On the Horizon" Dialysis campaign with a final installment of $4000. Rotary President Christine Keenan presented the cheque to Erin Coons, Executive Director of the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation on Friday, April 9th. This completes the Club's pledge of $12,000.00, bringing its cumulative giving to $37,100.00.

"The Fenelon Falls Rotary Club has been a generous supporter of the Hospital for many years now," said Coons. "Their members work incredibly hard to raise funds to support a variety of worthy projects such as our Dialysis Unit. We appreciate all of their time and effort, and we know our patients appreciate their support, too."

There are currently 47 local patients receiving treatments in the Dialysis Unit. The team is running three shifts per day, six days a week. Last month, they celebrated World Kidney Day, which raises awareness of the importance of our kidneys.
