Ross Memorial Hospital is an active, 170-bed community general hospital, serving more than 80,000 area residents.  We are proud to provide a range of services to meet the acute and continuing care needs of our community.

The hospital completed a major expansion project in 2005. It included doubling the size of the Emergency Department, a new Schedule 1 Mental Health facility, a new Complex Continuing Care wing with Rehabilitation and Palliative Care, an expansion of outpatient services, an additional impatient unit, and a new suite for the CT scanner. As a result, Ross Memorial Hospital's bed capacity has increased from 156 beds to 218, and the Hospital has increased in size from 186,000 square feet to 305,000 square feet.

The Clinical Programs and services include: Continuing Care, Critical Care, Medicine, Mental Health, Surgery, Women & Child Health, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory. Therapeutic services include: Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Diabetes Education, Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation and a Dialysis Unit.

In 2005, we implemented a Picture Archiving and Communication System. Our Diagnostic Services include: onsite CT, Ultrasound serving OBS, abdomen, musculoskeletal, 2D echo, and Mammography, including Ontario Breast Screening Program. In 2009, the Ministry of Health & Long Term Care approved the RMH application to provide MRI service.
