The main focus of Occupational Therapy at Ross Memorial is to restore a patient's physical abilities so that they will be able to conduct activities necessary for daily living. Currently, this program is available Monday to Friday, during regular business hours. There is one Occupational Therapist and one part-time assistant for this service at the Hospital. Occupational Therapy consists of special therapy exercises provided to stroke and orthopaedic patients so that they are able to function day-to-day upon discharge from the Hospital.
