Respiratory Care Practitioners work in all areas of the Hospital, including the Operating Room, Medical and Surgical Units, and Intensive Care. They have expertise in life support systems, anaesthetic machines, and the administering of medications for breathing disorders.

At Ross Memorial, we do Pulmonary Function Testing, as well as assessments to determine the need for patients to have home oxygen units.

Respiratory therapy services are available seven days a week, 12 hours a day. There is an on-call service available after hours for emergencies.
