The objective of the Adult Mental Health Program is to offer counselling services, which will improve or stabilize the quality of life for individuals with a serious mental illness.

This program offers counselling services to adults 16 years of age and older living in the City of Kawartha Lakes who are experiencing serious emotional distress.

Individual, marital, family and group counselling is available to help support people who are coping with a number of concerns including:

  • chronic emotional problems such as depression
  • severe anxiety/depression following a tragic event
