Also being recognized at the Ceremony will be the Physician recipient of the 2004 James Ross Award of Excellence to Dr. Peter Anderson. These peer nominated awards recognize and thank staff for their exceptional initiative in going beyond their defined role and exceeding expectations.

The James Ross Awards are currently peer nominated awards. However, in January 2005 RMH will be launching the James Ross Community Award of Excellence. This is an opportunity for community members to provide input, either as a patient or a visitor. They will have the opportunity to formally recognize the Ross Team for the extra steps they took to make someone’s stay or visit a little easier and/or more comfortable; and for doing so with excellence.
