Ross Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the arrival of Dr. Daniel Melamedov, General Surgeon.
Dr. Melamedov first came to Ross Memorial Hospital three years ago where he worked with Dr. Lackey and Dr. Baeta. At the time, he was impressed with the Hospital and the staff. “I found that I enjoyed Ross Memorial for a combination of reasons,” explains Dr. Melamedov received his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Medicine, and completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Toronto. During his residency, he served as the Chief Resident at Toronto General Hospital. “I chose to become a General Surgeon because of the variety of surgical procedures that I am able to perform. For example, thyroid and breast procedures, laparoscopic surgery, abdominal operations, and so much more,” says Dr. Melamedov. “In this community and at the Hospital, I have been given the opportunity to build a busy practice and to work with many patients with varying medical needs and conditions.”
“We are fortunate to have Dr. Melamedov on staff,” says Dr. Lauwers, Acting Chief “Ross Memorial is a great place to work,” concludes Dr. Melamedov. “I am very happy to be here and am looking forward to the future.” Dr. Melamedov is married with 21-month-old twins and a newborn. |
