Lindsay, June 19, 2003
On Monday, June 23rd until Friday, June 27th, construction work to replace the curbs and sidewalks in front of Ross Memorial’s Angeline Street main entrance will take place.
-
As a result, the East lane of Angeline Street will be closed. Temporary changes to both vehicle traffic and pedestrians will be as follows:
-
Staff, physicians, patients and visitors will be required to walk from the parking lot, cross to the West side of Angeline Street via a temporary crosswalk close to the entrance of the parking lot, walk along Angeline Street to the lights at the corner of Angeline and Kent, then cross at the lights and walk to the main Angeline Street Hospital entrance.
-
The driveway from the Kent Street Emergency parking lot to the Angeline Street exit will be closed. Vehicles, including ambulances, will still be able to enter from Kent Street to access the Emergency entrance, however, will be required to turn around and exit again onto Kent Street.
-
Drop-off and pick-up of patients will occur at the Kent Street/Emergency parking lot. To keep the Emergency entrance to the Hospital clear for emergencies only, non-emergent patients being dropped off will be required to walk around to the main Angeline Street Hospital entrance.
Ross Memorial recognizes the inconvenience that this will pose to the community and thanks everyone, in advance, for their patience and understanding.
