Visiting a Patient PDF  | Print |

The Hospital advises visitors who are feeling ill or who have been in contact with an infectious disease to refrain from visiting patients.

As well, two visitors per patient at one time will be allowed. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to visit; however, if a patient would benefit from a visit by a child, please speak to the nursing staff prior to the child arriving at the Hospital.

Families of patients that require help with eating and personal care (shaving, combing of hair, etc.) are encouraged to assist when possible – patients enjoy the attention and nursing staff appreciates the help!

Patients arriving at the Emergency Department are not to be accompanied by a visitor unless they require assistance, are critically ill or are a child, and then only one escort will be permitted.

Visiting Hours

Family and friends are welcome to visit patients from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.
