This holiday season the Foundation is encouraging local residents to celebrate the season with the Gift of Giving by supporting their current campaign to purchase much needed medical equipment for their critical care program. The Fox family truly exemplifies the Foundation’s holiday theme with their latest gift to sponsor the new donor wall located in the new main lobby. Dominic Fox generously established the original Ross Donor Wall in 1996 through a donation in memory of his late wife and thus began the Tradition of Giving program. The original wall reached capacity sooner than expected and Dom and his son John graciously agreed to sponsor the continuation of this recognition of the wonderful generosity this community has shown. “Mr. Fox, along with his son John and their family, felt that recognizing the generosity of our community was very important. However, they also felt that the expense should not be the responsibility of the Foundation, so they have once again come forward to support the construction of our new donor recognition wall,” says Erin Coons, Executive Director of the Ross Memorial Hospital Foudnation. The Fox family’s gift continues to inspire others to celebrate the Gift of Giving as donors are able to honour their families, friends, loved ones and organizations on the donor wall or in the donor register located at the original donor wall. “The Fox family’s significant contribution to the health and welfare of our community is evident, not simply because of their generosity, but because of their sincere passion for health care,” added Anthony Vines, President & CEO.
The Ross Donor Walls recognize the generosity of those who have supported the Hospital, and inspire others to continue in the Tradition of Giving. It features the names of the people who support the good work done at Ross Memorial Hospital. |
