With the support of individuals, families, businesses and service clubs, the Foundation is able to invest in urgently needed medical equipment that, in the hands of our talented professionals, helps to restore health, ease pain and save lives.  

The following is just some of the equipment that the Foundation provided funding for in the 2005/06 fiscal year through the generosity of our community:

• 3 Fetal Monitors - critical in caring for our expectant mothers and their babies
• Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
• Blood Gas Analyzer - Decreasing turnaround time for blood samples, affording clinicians the ability to make more rapid medical decisions
• Ventilator - A vital tool in caring for our most critically ill patients in our intensive care unit
• Portable Ultrasound Machine - Allowing rapid access to diagnostic information for life-threatening injuries in our Emergency Room
• Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) Machine - assisting rehabilitation after orthopaedic surgery
• Pressure Relief Mattresses - increasing comfort and healing for our patients
• 4 Electronic Thermometers
• Art therapy supplies for our Mental Health program
