RN Educational Support Programs PDF  | Print |

As part of our continuing efforts to assist our Recruitment and Retention efforts, we have established tuition support programs for nurses upgrading their skills. It is important to note that in order to be eligible for these programs, you must be an employee of Ross Memorial
Hospital.

RN to BScN Upgrading

Effective August 2003, any RN currently enrolled in accredited BScN courses will be reimbursed 50% of their tuition costs in accordance with the Hospital's Education Policy (6.2.20).

This does not apply to previously completed courses. It does, however, apply to any BScN course started the summer of 2003 and not yet completed. Those interested in this program should consult their Director for approval. You must provide your Director with the tuition receipt and proof of successful course completion.

There is no cap on the number of BScN courses per person per year that the Hospital will support under this program. This support is in addition to the annual $1,500.00 RNAO tuition support program.

If you have any questions, please speak with your manager or call the Director of Human Resources at extension 4341.
