The Ross Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Madison Kozak during her visit to the temporary Dialysis Unit. Madison has very generously chosen to donate the proceeds of her upcoming concert at the Academy Theatre to the RMH Auxiliary. Those funds will help the Auxiliary to achieve their $500,000 pledge to the “On the Horizon” Dialysis Campaign. Historically, the Auxiliary is the first to contribute to hospital projects. In true Auxiliary fashion, the hospital’s team of volunteers is the lead donor in the campaign.
Though Madison’s heart is big, her understanding of dialysis is limited. So when the Auxiliary team suggested a tour of the temporary facility at the hospital, the Dialysis Team was happy to give Madison a tour. During her tour, Madison learned how dialyzers work and why it’s important to have the treatments available locally. Even more important, she was able to meet some of the patients who come to the Ross for their treatments three days a week, and who will benefit from her generous donation when the permanent Dialysis Unit is completed this summer.
Madison will be performing with the band, South Mountain, in her show “A Night for Sweethearts”. The concert begins at 7pm on Saturday, February 9th, at the Academy Theatre.
