The Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation is pleased to accept a generous donation from the William Place Retirement Residence. Today, Director of Marketing at William Place Retirement Residence, Ms. Michal Wallen, presented a cheque for $1000 to John Bennett and Brenda De Koker of the RMH Foundation.

The donation will be directed toward the "On the Horizon" Dialysis campaign. The goal of the fundraising campaign is $2.2 million, the community's share of the total cost of the new Dialysis Unit.

"Diabetes is fairly common among seniors," said Wallen, "so we're happy to contribute to a cause that improves the quality of life for seniors. Also, the William Place Retirement Residence is closely tied to the Ross Memorial Hospital, its doctors and nurses. We want to support the Foundation's efforts."
