For the past four years, Marnie's Dance N' Kids have supported the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation's Christmas Appeal with proceeds from their Christmas Concert. This year, the concert on December 7th involved 80 children who entertained the audience with a variety of songs and dances.
Today, Marnie Williamson of Marnie's Dance N' Kids presented a cheque for $1000 to Erin Coons, Executive Director of the RMH Foundation. "We love being able to make this donation each year," said Williamson. "It's great to be able to give something that benefits the whole community. It also teaches the kids to be philanthropic."
"Marnie's Dance N' Kids have been super supporters of our Christmas Appeal," said Coons. "This year, their donation will help us to purchase digital mammography equipment for the Diagnostic Imaging department. Digital mammography is faster and more accurate than film-screen mammography. It will help to detect breast cancer sooner, giving women, and even some men, a better chance to fight it."
