Third Party Events are a Hit! PDF  | Print |

A Third Party Event is a fundraising event held by an individual, group, or organization to support the Hospital. These special functions contributed $20,844 to the Foundation last year alone!

We're fortunate to have supporters who host third party events on an annual basis. For example, Therese Scheer has encouraged ladies' leagues at a variety of local golf clubs to host tournaments to support breast cancer screening at the Ross. Therese has also established a group of painters who create Chwalk_of_life_09_006.jpgristmas ornaments and sell them at fairs and craft sales each year. In the last two years, through both of these ventures, Therese has helped raise $15,049!

The Cardiac Rehabilitation program also hosts a Third Party Event each year. Its "Walk of Life" takes place in April, and encourages participants to gather pledges and join in one of two walks around the Hospital property. The funds raised help the program to purchase new equipment for its gym and educational materials.
