The Kawartha Lakes Community Health Care Initiative (KLCHCI) is an incorporated non-profit organization whose mission is to: recruit family health care professionals to the City of Kawartha Lakes, to retain family health care professionals in the City of Kawartha Lakes and to conduct research, public education, outreach and advocacy as it relates to recruitment and retention of health care professionals.

Recruitment and retention of health care professionals is crucial across Ontario and especially within the City of Kawartha Lakes – a designated under-serviced area by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. For more information, please visit the website at kawarthalakesdoctors.org.
