The Order of the Eastern Star, Coronation Chapter #218 continues to be a dedicated supporter of local dialysis services. Today, Worthy Matron Doreen Wilson and Worthy Patron Gord Henry made a donation to the RMH Foundation for $1852.28. For the fourth year in a row, the Order's contribution will be directed to the RMH Dialysis Unit. 

Supporting this service has been a priority for the members of the Order as several members and some of their spouses have suffered from kidney disease and have had to travel for dialysis treatments in the past.

The Chapter raises funds through various activities including barbecues and draws. The Order of the Eastern Star is comprised of both men and women, with links to the Masons. The Order was created by Master Mason Dr. Robert Morris in 1867. Since that time the fraternal organization has been dedicated to improving its home communities.
