BMO's pledge is helping RMH offer more services

BMO has a long history of investing in the well being of the communities it serves. In 2011, the bank made a significant investment in local healthcare when it made a $60,000 pledge to the Imagine the Future capital campaign to support the purchase of an MRI and CT scanner for patients at the Ross Memorial Hospital.

Scotiabank completes its commitment to the "On the Horizon" campaign

Today, Scotiabank Branch Manager Greg Clements and Manager of Customer Service Larry Toupin visited the Ross Memorial Hospital to present the third and final installment on the bank’s pledge to the “On the Horizon” Dialysis campaign. This $10,000 contribution completes the bank’s total pledge of $30,000, which was made over three years.

Ross Memorial celebrates patient care milestone with MRI donors

On January 17th, 2011, the Ross Memorial Hospital launched its MRI service, providing local patients with access to the gold standard in diagnostic imaging, and helping physicians to diagnose patients’ illnesses and injuries faster so they can begin treatments sooner. It was a significant event in our community’s healthcare history;before then, MRI wait times for residents of the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County were 3-4 times higher than provincial targets.
