A Cancer Care Ontario research study has found that when it comes to detecting breast cancer, digital direct radiography (DR) and screen film are significantly more effective than digital computed radiography (CR). At Ross Memorial Hospital, mammograms are performed using digital direct radiography (DR).

The Ross Family is thrilled to welcome the hospital’s New Year’s baby. Rowan Boyd was born at 7:35 a.m. on January 1st. Parents Lynsie and Kevin Boyd are thrilled with the arrival of their first child, who weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and who, along with his mom, is doing very well.
