RMH seeks public input as it updates the Patient Bill of Rights

A Patient Bill of Rights is a document that outlines what patients can expect of their healthcare providers, and in turn, what the healthcare team expects of them.

By setting out these obligations and expectations in a clear list, it’s hoped that our patients will have a more positive experience during their hospital stay. At the same time, they will learn how they can play a greater role in their own healthcare and help the healthcare team provide the best care possible.

The Ross Memorial is asking for public input as it updates the Patient Bill of Rights. The Patient Bill of Rights can be read here on the hospital's website, or in the RMH Patient and Visitor Handbook. People can also receive a copy of the Patient Bill of Rights by contacting the Public Relations office at 705-328-6246.

Suggestions can be made in the following ways:

Please submit your suggestions by August 15th. The updated Patient Bill of Rights will be released in late September.
