Spiritual & Religious Care

Ross Memorial Hospital is pleased to arrange appropriate Spiritual and Religious Care for its patients.

The Spiritual & Religious Care team is available to all patients upon request. Spiritual care providers are respectful of different cultural backgrounds and faith traditions. The Spiritual Care team will also contact your faith community upon request. The department’s office hours are Wednesdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and they can be contacted at 705-324-6111, ext. 4116.

There are worship services in CCP2 at 10:30 a.m. and CCP1 at 11:15 a.m. on the first and last Wednesday of every month. After hours and on weekends, an on-call Spiritual and/or Religious care representative will assist in meeting your Spiritual and Religious care needs. Please ask your health care team to connect you with a Spiritual or Religious on-call.

The Sacred Space Area is located on the 2nd floor near the blue elevators- all persons are welcome.

Religious Materials

Multi-faith religious literature (i.e. Gideon Bibles, Qur’an, Bahi) and other religious literature in many different languages can be requested from the Spiritual and Religious Care Department. Worship materials of any faith group are available upon request.
